Hot 6 and Soju

So I have said several times I think, that Koreans really drink one drink. And thats Soju! Yes they drink beer, some whiskey, and others but soju is the drink of Korea. It is the green bottle here in this picture, just like vodka, no burn, and half the alcohol content. Koreans just take shot after shot straight-up. It is dirt cheap and a great mixer so I drink it with this stuff Hot 6, kind of like redbull. Good vodak and redbull taste, and very cheap. The soju bottle is about 1,500won on the convenient marts and 3,000won at dinner or bars. They seem to support the drinking and smoking by making them super cheap, I guess cigarettes here are about 2,500won a pack.




This is a new bar on our street "Boom Bar" like pretty much every place they serve food and drinks. This is the table after about 8 of us left (not including everything they already cleared off haha). It was Paul's birthday so we started in Daechi-dong, our home turf, and headed to Iteawon, and foreigners hot spot. We hit several places theu guys know well, but ended up on a rooftop bar. Iteawon does not have the impressive buildings Daechi or Gangnam does but it is still cool looking over that part of the city at night.

























And here is myself with Eddie (far right) and his friend whos name escapes me. He is however a officer in the military. Good guys and fun to be with. We usually see Eddie once a week or so.
