My first day in Aspen we got out and hiked Maroon Bells. We saw tons of wildlife including birds, fish, two moose and a bunch of small critters.
This first one was a hike up Smugglers and there was this perfect amount of snow falling combine with some already stuck to everything. This creek was the most beautiful part of the trip believe it or not.
Dillo will get a kick out of this picture. These were my hiking shoes for the whole week. They saw the hot desert rocks all the way up to 12,095 feet in Independence Pass where he took this picture. I'm not sure if they ever actually saved your life Dillo but they did their job for me.
The third picture came out almost perfect. What a clean, clear and pure lake that was. Maroon Bells.
